The newly built Iowa Western Reivers Football Locker Room was designed to embody the team’s pride, discipline, and competitive spirit. Every detail — from lighting to branding — reinforces a sense of focus and unity. The result is a functional, visually confident environment that elevates the athlete experience from the moment they step inside.
Part of the new Reiver Athletic Performance Center, this locker room replaced an outdated facility that no longer matched the program’s stature. With a limited budget, the college’s Marketing and Communications Department partnered with us to ensure the space aligned with Iowa Western’s rising national profile and evolving brand.
From the start, our goal was to create an environment that reflected stability, focus, and pride. Having developed the Reivers’ brand identity years earlier, we extended its visual language into this new space — ensuring consistency across every touchpoint and building on an already strong foundation.
Lighting and material choices establish an elevated tone, while minimalist yet strategic branding reinforces the team’s identity without overwhelming the space. Every element was designed to amplify impact, proving how thoughtful design can elevate perception well beyond investment.
Athletes and staff alike praised the transformation. The new facility stands among the best in the nation — not just in JUCO athletics, but across all levels — reflecting Iowa Western’s commitment to creating life-changing opportunities through sport.
